Yes, yes, what you have had buzzing in the back of your blurringly wild dreams came true. After four long years and the loss of many Mondays  (sorry bout’ that)  BYTE is folding up the tent and moving on. The entire BYTE crew thanks you (seriously we do), not only for the acclaim and the loyalty that only NYC could give us, but for the friendships that we have made with each of you. BYTE and the scene can only go forward from here. BYTE was the springboard for the NEW New York night life scene and as you let go you will catch on to another and the ride will continue.

All I can say is, if in the future if by chance we look back and see in the distance BYTE as it was and remember it as good thing. Then it was all worth it, smiles and all.

Yes, its true! BYTE was bringing back Obscenity Trial and their friends SPETSNAZ for a live show in December!However, since the end of BYTE we decided to keep the booking and showcase SPETSNAZ at Don Hill’s! This is the last stop on the 2008 tour and…the ONLY chance to see them in the Tri-State area….Could you think of a better Christmas present than that? There will most likely be an trinket or two raffled off during the night and the occasional drunken Santa plowing down the dance floor. As always…..more to come.

When Zachary Palmer of L Magazine was thinking of the Top Ten Parties in NYC of 2007 he had many to choose from. Parties that define the raunchy core of our city, parties of style and street cred. Places that your parents will worry about you if they only knew you were there….parties like our fellow top 10 winners Cheeky Bastard, High Voltage, NC-17 / TRASH and Motherfucker! BYTE is honored and humbled to be a part of this list and thank not only L magazine for this privilege but all of you beautiful bastards that make us want to throw this party…………………..2008 HERE WE COME!
